Dansk/svenske Johanna Linnea Jakobsson er saxofonist, sanger og komponist, og er aktuel med
sit nye album ”Don’t Overthink It”, som udkom den 31. oktober 2025. Albummet har fået
masser af roser med på vejen af anmeldere. Blandt andet skriver Ivan Rod i GAFFA at ”..hendes
stemmekontrol og sans for sangskrivning og komposition gør hende til et unikt fænomen i
dansk/svensk musik” og giver albummet 5 ud af 6 stjerner. Erik Jensen skriver i magasinet All
That, at hendes sange præsenteres ”..ekstremt stilfuldt og overbevisende” – også her
præmieres albummet med 5 ud af 6 stjerner.
En stor del af 2025 har singler som ”Work” og ”Time” på skift ligget i A-rotation på Danmarks
Radio P8 Jazz. Samme radiostation udnævnte da også ”Don’t Overthink It” til ’ugens album’
umiddelbart efter udgivelsen. Singlen ”Time” opnåede endda en fornem nominering til en
Danish Music Awards Jazz 2025 i kategorien ’årets single’.
Koncerten vil naturligvis byde på materiale fra det aktuelle album, samt fra det ligeledes
anmelderroste debutalbum ”Alone Together” fra 2022. Repertoiret vil sikkert også byde på
klassikere inden for forskellige genrer, som Johanna ofte fortolker med sit band.

Danish/Swedish musician Johanna Linnea Jakobsson is a saxophonist, vocalist, and composer, currently presenting her new album Don’t Overthink It, released on October 31, 2025. The album has been widely praised by critics. Ivan Rod wrote in GAFFA that “...her vocal control and sense of songwriting and composition make her a unique phenomenon in Danish/Swedish music,” awarding the album 5 out of 6 stars. Erik Jensen wrote in All That magazine that her songs are presented “...extremely stylishly and convincingly,” also giving it 5 out of 6 stars.
Throughout 2025, singles such as Work and Time were repeatedly in A-rotation on DR P8 Jazz. The station also named Don’t Overthink It Album of the Week shortly after its release. The single Time even earned a distinguished nomination at Danish Music Awards Jazz 2025 in the category Single of the Year.
The concert will naturally feature material from the new album, as well as from the critically acclaimed debut album Alone Together from 2022. The repertoire may also include classics from various genres, which Johanna often interprets with her band.
