Many people from the LGBTQIA+ community unfortunately still feel alienated from team sports, so even though clubs are becoming more inclusive, we still have a long way to go! Basketball is for EVERYONE, and if you agree, come and show support on the court! ✨

Location: Sluseholmen Skole (gym is on the top floor!)

OPEN BEGINNER TRAINING: We are hosting a beginner-friendly basketball session that’s open to everyone — all ages, all skill levels, all bodies, all gender identities. Whether you’ve never touched a basketball or just want to have some fun, you’re more than welcome! Come for a fun training, no experience required! We will have lots of fun learning basketball basics together ✨
Bring comfortable shoes you can run in, a water bottle ? and feel free to wear colourful clothes! ??
Just a heads-up: the gym is on the 4th floor and there’s no elevator, so it’s not the most accessible space ?

SOCIAL ACTIVITES & TOURNAMENT:
Stick around after the training and cheer on the teams that play in the tournament! There will be social icebreakers and games during the tournament that everyone can join ? There will also be some small competitions where you can win a pair of awesome rainbow socks

This event is part of a series of events with the goal of creating a more inclusive basketball environment in Copenhagen.

Our goals:
? Show LGBTQIA+ players and allies that they are welcome in Danish basketball 
? Celebrate our players and community for the great work they do for the cause
? Collaborate on ideas how to be more inclusive
