In their efforts to protect nature, land, and local communities, they are subjected to harassment, police repression, violence, and death threats.

The film is not only a story about those who pay the high price for what is called “development” and “progress” — it is also about how resistance is becoming global, and about these women’s determination to hold corporations accountable, no matter where in the world they hide.
