With the sounds of turtledoves and other birds mixing with the murmur of the city afar. We gather at Assistens Kirkegård to share a moment of Yoga (योग), of « union » of body, mind, and spirit. It is a chance to slow down with calm together, stretching, breathing, and moving in playful yet deeply grounding and elevating ways.

The class draws inspiration from Hatha, Tantra (no, nothing sexual here…), and Kundalini (... neither there ?) traditions. That means we will work with the body through postures and breath, with energy and presence, and with awakening inner vitality. Don’t worry, this isn’t as mystical as it sounds, it’s simply an invitation to explore balance, polarities, energy, harmony, and yes, sometimes the mysterious chakra system, always in simple and joyful ways that anyone can join.

Everyeveryone is welcome. Whether you are a curious beginner or an experienced yogi, feeling spiritual, agnostic or atheist... or simply curious to move, breathe, or meet kindred souls with peace and harmony, you are invited. Don’t be intimidated, there is no ‘level’ in yoga, only your own journey.
