CABARET MELANCHOLIQUE in COPENHAGEN

Dearest art friends and colleagues,

You are warmly invited to LIVE ART ZINE, December 6th at 7:30 PM

Come and meet the dark and grotesque CABARET MELANCHOLIQUE, flown in directly from London! And you can perform in the cabaret, too!

"Cabaret Melancholique is an annual event celebrating weird no-fi live acts falling somewhere between music hall, misguided performance art, puppetry & worse."

CAB MEL was originally founded in London in the year 2000. The content can be described as Victorian gloom meets The Muppet Show. We have invited the five main CabMel organizers over from London to lead the affair.

We look forward to a fun and wildly unhinged Christmas celebration, where anyone can try out absurd stunts they have always wanted to attempt, but which are too embarrassing to include in one’s usual practice!

A contribution can last anywhere from a few seconds to several minutes — but of course you are also welcome to “just” be a spectator. The program is anonymous and unpaid. Please let us know no later than November 29th if you will be performing.
