Analepsy:
Analepsy is a Portuguese slamming brutal death metal band based in Lisbon, Portugal. Their sound can be described as a crossover between old-school brutal death metal and modern melodic elements.

Frequently asked question: The correct pronunciation of the name of the band is
"uh-nuh-lep-sy" [ʌnʌ'lepsi], and it was chosen due to its (now obsolete) meaning: recovery of strength after an illness.

The band started gaining popularity with the single "Genetic Mutations", released in April 2014, recorded, mixed, and mastered by Miguel Tereso at Demigod Recordings studio. The band released it digitally, but a licensed physical copy limited to 36 units was later released by Dismembered Records (Indonesia). Their debut EP, "Dehumanization by Supremacy", was released in May 2015 through Vomit
Your Shirt (Portugal) and Rotten Cemetery Records (Chile), and was overall well received.

In April 2017, Analepsy won the Portuguese W:O:A Metal Battle, supported by the
organization of SWR Barroselas Metalfest. They represented Portugal at the final round of the Metal Battle at Wacken Open Air in August.

“Quiescence”, the second full-length album, was released on April 15th, 2022 via Miasma Records and Vomit Your Shirt, worldwide.

Dannet i 2019 brugte Anthropoid Idol år på at skrive materiale og samle en fast line-up inden deres debut show på 1000 Fryd i 2023.

Siden da har bandet udgivet demo EP'en Vile Cosmogony (2024) samt optrådt på Lygten Station, Paramount DIY, Devil Cook Festival, Dark Mental Festival, Cowboy Trash Scum Island, Templet, Rust og Klaverfabrikken.

Nu bringer Bjørn Brink Jensen (trommer), Gabriel Leikersfeldt Rasmussen (vokal), Nikolaj Frøsig Jensen (lead guitar), Mikkel Rossil (bas) og Pawel Mielcarek (rhythm guitar, backing vokal) deres brutale horror inspirerede Lovecraftian Death Metal til Stengade.

Gør jer klar på en nådesløs galakse hvor uformelige guder og kaotiske visioner dominerer fra verdens rummets dyb til den kombinerede lyd af Death Metal, Grindcore og Black Metal.

Deres koncert på Stengade vil også tjene som release fest for det længe ventede debut album Tales From The Void.
