Glæd dig til to inspirerende dage fyldt med fest, shows og workshops, når Alternative Fashion Week CPH åbner dørene og hylder designere og initiativer, der arbejder for bæredygtig omstilling og socialt ansvar i modebranchen.

Udforsk vores fashion agora, hvor du kan møde en mangfoldig gruppe designere, som arbejder med bæredygtigt design og cirkulære forretningsmodeller.

Oplev også den ikoniske dekonstruerede catwalk – et kunstnerisk show, der kombinerer teater med klassisk catwalk. Her møder du et bredt cast af modeller iført unikke outfits skabt af designere og samarbejdspartnere fra AFW CPH. Showet er både kreativt, legende og altid med et vigtigt budskab.

Derudover byder programmet på talks, paneldebatter, workshops og aktiviteter, som giver forskellige perspektiver på design, håndværk og bæredygtighed.

? Årets tema: Åndeverden og havet
Vi undersøger forbindelserne mellem vores forbrug og livsverdener, der ligger langt fra vores egen. Naturen er ikke blot en ressource – den er en kraft, en hukommelse, et væsen. Vores affald forsvinder ikke, det flytter sig – og påvirker steder, arter og kulturer, der ikke bærer skylden. Måske taler naturens ånder nu til os. Ikke for at skræmme, men for at vække.

Om AFW CPH:
Hos AFW CPH skaber vi en platform for kreativitet og nytænkning i mode- og tekstilbranchen. Vi arbejder for en ny modeorden, hvor bæredygtig omstilling og socialt ansvar er i centrum.

The program also includes talks, panel debates, workshops, and activities offering various perspectives on design, craft, and sustainability.

We explore the hidden connections between our consumption and distant life-worlds. Nature is not just a resource – it’s a force, a memory, a being. Our waste doesn’t disappear; it travels – reaching shores, species, and cultures untouched by our overconsumption. Perhaps, through silence and storms alike, the spirits of nature are now speaking to us. Not to frighten – but to awaken.
