Introducing FarmLink CONNECT
FarmLink CONNECT is our new, relaxed Thursday afternoon catch-up for members and farmers - designed to spark ideas, share knowledge and strengthen connections across our region.
Join us for an engaging afternoon featuring:
Guest Speaker: Geoff Minchin
Senior Agricultural Advisor, Riverina Local Land Services.
Geoff will discuss containment feeding of stock during a visit to the Temora Agricultural Innovation Centre (TAIC) drought lot. There’ll be open discussion around the advantages and disadvantages of containment feeding, plus practical insights on preparing and managing stock.
FarmLink Representative: Mark Skewes
Principal Research & Extension Manager, FarmLink.
Mark will present results from the 2025 season of the Long Term Field Trials of Drought Resilient Farming Practices. The focus this season has been on short-term stock feed options using cereal crops, exploring different crop types and grazing durations.
Members will also have the opportunity to contribute ideas to the trial design for the next two seasons.
After the formalities, stick around for drinks and nibbles as we wind down, network and continue the conversation.
Practical insight. Real conversations. Stronger connections.
We look forward to seeing you at FarmLink CONNECT.
