QIPT Workshop 2 - A Way of Being

This workshop builds on the concepts introduced in Workshop 1 - An Introduction to Play Therapy.

Begin to look at advanced Play Therapy techniques including:

• Interpersonal neurobiology of play.
• Attachment.
• Trauma.
• Identifying themes and stages in the Play Therapy Process.
• Working with parents.
• Case conceptualization.
• Treatment planning & notes.
• Working with children & parents with complex trauma.
• Advanced Skills in Play Therapy.
• Identifying & reflecting our own nervous system.
• Art In Play Therapy.

The workshop is presented by Sarah Harwood, founder of the Queensland Institute of Play Therapy. Sarah is a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor and operates her private practice in Brisbane, Queensland. She is also the President of the Australian Play Therapy Association.
