A Seasonal Animal Wisdom Workshop
I am delighted to announce that Spiritus Animalis Workshops are returning in 2026.
This year’s series is woven around the Wheel of the Year, aligning each gathering with the Equinoxes and Solstices - Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter - so we may listen more closely to the living rhythms of the land and the creatures who share it with us.
Each Spiritus Animalis workshop features five animal teachers, each paired with one of the sacred elements: Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Spirit. Together, they form a living constellation of guidance, balance, and seasonal wisdom.
For the Spring Equinox, a bold and bright group of animal allies have stepped forward:
Earth — Badger
Air — Goldfinch
Fire — Eastern Newt
Water — Common Toad
Spirit — Jackalope
This session will blend animal knowledge, folklore, and symbolism with a custom-guided meditation written specifically for this gathering, inviting you to experience the wisdom of these animals not just intellectually, but somatically and spiritually.
The animal kingdom is alive with meaning. From insects stirring beneath moss-covered logs to amphibians waking in damp leaf litter, from birdsong returning to the hedgerows to unseen spirits moving between worlds, Spring reminds us that magic is not abstract. It is present. It is embodied. It is in motion.
Through contemplation, guided journeying, and shared reflection, we will welcome the guidance, energy, and healing of our animal teachers and explore how their lessons can be woven into our own lives.
All are welcome, whether you are new to animal wisdom work or returning to deepen an established relationship.
