- **Event Description**: After successfully running our very popular Women’s Wilderness Retreats for years, we are excited to announce our first ever “Senior Mama” version! So what exactly is this? This hike is the chance to give those that are either, slightly on the older/more life experienced, side of life 😎 and/or those with physical issues preventing them from hiking the full 40 mile women’s retreats, to still experience this awesome ministry event! Your FC Backcountry Guides have specifically designed this hike to be highly accommodating hoping to extend this experience to as many people as possible! Need a CPAP machine to sleep, medicines that must stay in a cooler, etc? No problem, we’ll carry it for you!

So come on and join the ladies of Foundation Church on this moving women's retreat where you’ll spend 2 nights at the amazing Trout Lake Cabin which is only a 5 mile hike on days 1 and 3 with a zero day in the middle! Come see what it’s like to backpack through the Chugach National Forest on the epic Resurrection Pass Trail system!

As women we all need time to pull away and reflect/refresh in God's word. What better way to refresh your spirit than spending 3 days, completely off-grid, surrounded by nothing but nature and fellow ladies who desire to grow in God's Word! Each day of the hike will have a different spiritual discussion point and end with a Bible reflection time at the cabins led by our guest speaker! You do not want to miss this event!

Your hike will be guided by one of our experienced guides with ample Alaskan backcountry experience and emergency medical certifications.

We have secured the very sought-after dry cabins for each night of the hike! Each day of the hike will end at a campsite equipped with a dry-cabin for sleeping, cooking, and protection from the elements. Due to these reservations, our group is limited to a maximum of 8 ladies, so please register here as "going" as soon as you know if you are able to attend!

*Girls as young as 15 are permitted to attend this event with their attending relative or appointed guardian.
**All food and gear will be at your own expense. If you are new to backpacking and want to try it out but don't have your own gear, please reach to inquire about our FC Loaner Gear program!
***The entire RPT is spent "off grid" and outside of cell reception. Your guide will be carrying a satellite communicator with SOS capabilities and each hiker will be able to designate somebody who will receive a live map of the hike and updates each day on our progress via satellite messaging.

****There will be a required pre-trip meeting/packing party on Fri. Aug. 14, 5pm at Foundation Church****
