She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and has been studying herbal medicine for over 20 years. With a special passion for foraging local edible and medicinal plants, Lindsey teaches herbal medicine making, home apothecary skills, natural body care, cooking, and plant identification throughout the year. Rooted in sustainability and a deep respect for the land, she is dedicated to helping others build meaningful relationships with plants, food, and the natural world.Jaclyn is a yoga teacher, sound healer, labor and delivery nurse, herbalist and the founder of Ancestral Roots. For over 10 years she has guided others through yoga, meditation, movement, and sound while studying and learning from her teachers from around the world.
