No experience needed.About this EventJoin us on Tuesday, May 12th anytime between 9:00AM-3:00PM as we pull invasive  garlic mustard to revitalize the forest ecosystem. This event will be held on-site at Coon Rapids Dam, located at 9750 Egret Blvd NW, Coon Rapids, MN 55433.The program is free but registration is required to help us track volunteers. This event will involve walking about 1.5 miles along paved and dirt trails and through forest habitat. Volunteer work will also involve bending and kneeling to pull plants. If you anticipate needing any accommodations in order to volunteer or have any questions, please contact Lauren Schmelzer by email at lauren.schmelzer@anokaswcd.org or call 763-434-2030 x220.This event will take place rain or shine. In case of severe weather, this event may be postponed. All registered volunteers will be informed in advance and an alternative date and time will be provided through email.What to BringPlease bring a water bottle, sun protection (or rain jacket), insect repellent, and gardening gloves. Long pants and close-toed shoes are recommended.ParkingParking is free for volunteers. See the attached map for an aerial view of the park with the two designated parking areas in orange. Hanson Blvd &amp; 99th Ave: park on the shoulder of road and walk along the short dirt path into the park.
