Step into Flow with the 10-Form Tai Chi Sequence
Have you always wanted to learn Tai Chi but felt intimidated by the long 108 movements? Good news! There’s a simple 10-form sequence. This short form includes key moves from the classic 108, offering the essence of Tai Chi in an easy-to-learn style. Discover the grace, balance, and inner calm of Tai Chi.
Each class focuses on a short warm up followed by learning a bit of the form and reviewing previous week's forms. We'll be practicing and flowing like a river. Hang will explain simple principles that help the body move with ease and stability. Class can be practiced standing or seated, making this course suitable for all abilities, including those with limited mobility, recovering from injury, or simply wanting a softer approach. If you'd like a longer warm-up, may I suggest attending the Qi Gong course prior to Tai Chi.
Bonus: Hang will share daily short Qi Gong warm-ups before commencing with the Tai Chi sequence.
All are welcome - no experience needed, just a breath and an open heart.
What to bring:
1. An open mind and a loving heart for yourself.
2. Kindly dress conservatively with exercise clothing that covers the knees and midriff. Layer up, just in case it’s sunny, we’ll go outside to the magical pond.
3. Wear outdoors and bring indoors sneakers - the studio has a no-outside shoes policy. Avoid sandals and crocs.
4. A water bottle.
