We’ll be meeting at Broadwater Parklands (near the chapel) where there is plenty of parking available.

From there we’ll ride together along the beautiful beach front towards Coolangatta.

This is a leisurely social ride, not a race. We’ll take our time, stop along the way to keep everyone together, and enjoy the journey just as much as the destination.

Once we arrive at Cooly Rocks On, we’ll wander around the festival, enjoy the atmosphere, grab a bite to eat and a drink somewhere, then ride back together.

? Meet: 8:45am
?‍♂️ Ride departure: 9:00am sharp
? Start location: Broadwater Parklands (near the chapel)

The ride to Coolangatta is roughly 34km each way, mostly along the scenic coastal bike paths, so allow around 2 hours each direction at a relaxed pace.

We’ll stop along the way whenever needed so everyone stays together.

• Spare tube or puncture kit (recommended)

Feel free to get into the spirit of the day and wear something retro or rockabilly to match the Cooly Rocks On vibe. Vintage outfits, bandanas, old-school sunnies or anything fun from the era!

If you live further south, you’re absolutely welcome to join the ride anywhere along the coastal path as we make our way toward Coolangatta.

If you’re new to riding longer distances, all good, we’ll take it easy and support each other along the way.
