Join us for a practical, empowering workshop focused on extending the life of the clothes you love. Led by the skilled and creative Jess Howerton, this class teaches you simple, effective mending techniques that anyone can learn, no sewing experience required!
Bring your own clothing items in need of a little TLC, and we’ll provide all the tools, supplies, and guidance you need to repair them.

🧵 Techniques We’ll Cover
Learn how to mend common issues with easy, approachable methods such as:
- Hand stitching basics (threading, knots, securing ends)
- Repairing small holes using discrete stitches
- Patching techniques for worn areas or larger tears
- Strengthening seams that have begun to split
- Fixing minor hems that have come undone
- Reinforcing high-wear areas to extend garment life
You’ll walk away feeling confident and inspired to repair more pieces at home, saving money, reducing waste, and keeping your wardrobe in use longer.

- Up to 3 clothing items that need mending
- Items can include cotton, linen, denim, canvas, or similar fabrics
(We may not be able to work with delicate fabrics like silk or chiffon)
