He has been a lifelong employee at C&C Auto Parts and she works at Steelville Senior Living. They do not live in an area prone to flooding, but on July 10 their house and both vehicles were impacted by the flooding. The following Tuesday, he had a seizure at work and was taken to the hospital. The next day he was moved to St Louis where he had surgery to remove a tumor. Travis had a stroke during surgery. He has a long recovery ahead. All proceeds from  this benefit will go to helping with their expenses as they have both been out of work since his medical emergency.
