- **Event Description**: The Mount Washington Valley Community Band will present a pair of holiday winter concerts on Saturday, Dec. 6, at the Whitney Center in Jackson at 2 p.m. and on Sunday, Dec. 7, at the Tin Mountain Conservation Center in Albany at 2 p.m.

Each concert will feature well-known holiday favorites like "Sleigh Ride," "White Christmas" and "We Need a Little Christmas"; Christmas and Hanukkah medleys including "A Holst Christmas," "The Polar Express" and "A Hanukkah Festival"; and more band member favorites like the melodic "Cantique de Noel" and the lively "I Saw Three Ships." 

As part of the annual tradition, an audience sing-along of classic carols will end the concert. New this year, a guest from the Mount Washington Valley Skating Club will conduct the band for the theme song of "Ice Castles," a 1978 film about ice skating. 

Donations will be collected at the door, the suggested donations are $10 for adults and $5 for children.
