- **Event Description**: You will be able to celebrate summer with an old-fashioned cookout, enjoy a variety of outdoor activities, and participate in a hula hoop playshop with Katie Sunshine. Be sure to enjoy FREE Kona Ice between 11:30am-1:30pm! This event is intended for all ages and no fees & registration are required to attend. 

We're also introducing a Tree Giveaway between noon-1pm. This is a partnership with University of Arkansas to help distribute 25,000 trees around Central Arkansas. The Faulkner County Urban Farm Project was able to obtain 100 trees to give away during this community cookout. Since this is a grant-funded program, the following information is required to be collected from participants: name, type of tree(s) taken, where they will be planted, and contact information. 
Tree inventory (numbers may vary): river birch, hackberry, gray dogwood, buttonbush, wild plum, white oak, swamp white oak, red oak, bur oak, and persimmon.
