Khejuri Hijli Dariyapur Bankiput Sea beach - A Heritage Trail

A tour covering the historic trail of Midnapore. A curated tour to take you on a trail of the 18th century port from where Raja Rammohun Roy sailed for the last time from the shores of India, of the first Telegraph line and Post Office in India, of the towering Lighthouses which are over a century old, of the place where Job Chanock set up his trading post for the first time, of India's seventh largest fishing port and the biggest in Bengal, of Bankimchandra Chattopadhyay and Kapalkundala and the pristine sea beach.
Tour highlights:
1. Drive down to Kolagahat on day one. Breakfast break here.
2. Drive down to Mrinmoyee Cottage, Dariyapur.
3. After Lunch visit Bankiput Beach for the wonderful sun set views from this virgin beach
4. Next day morning, after breakfast visit Kapalkundala Mandir, Dariyapur lighthouse (under Navy). Local Auto will take you to Pethuaghat fishing harbour, from where you will be boarding the local country boat (unreserved) for a 10 minute journey to cross the Rasulpur river.
5. Our Car in the meantime will reach the Ghat here for picking you up. The Car will then proceed to take you to Hijli and Khejuri heritage and historic places.
6. Return drive to Kolkata. Lunch on the way (please be informed that lunch will be a bit late at around 2pm. We will therefore provide some midday dry snacks)
TRANSPORTATION:
1. AC Vehicle for transfers to and from Kolkata. Vehicle route starting from Peerless Hospital (EM Bypass) at 7:30 am, to Maa Flyover, to Vidyasagar Setu and onwards. Return journey will follow the same route. Please do not request for deviations when returning as any deviations will cost us additional charges.
2. Locally Toto/Auto and Ferry Boat will be used depending
ACCOMMODATION IN DARIYAPUR :
MRINMOYEE COTTAGE
Check into this beautiful eco friendly cottage. Double bed rooms with attached bath (WC) and running water. NO AC AVAILABLE.
FOOD as specified. Fixed meal at our designated places. 2 X 1 litre bottle of packaged drinking water will be provided on both the days. Barbecue and bonfire charges additional.
EXCLUSIONS:
1. Any usage of any other mode of transport other than what is provided
2. Any additional usage of mineral water in rooms
3. Any tips to anybody
4. Any additional beverages or snacks or food consumed other than what is provided in package
5. Any ride, entry charges or other charges outside the package.

Although we provide our best of services, we will not take any responsibility for any car mechanical problems, electricity fluctuations in your place of stay. No adjustments in rates will be made in such eventuality.
IMPORTANT: PLEASE CARRY YOUR ORIGINAL PHOTO ID CARD AND ONE PHOTOCOPY OF THE SAME.
CHARGES:
Rs 9750/- per person on twin sharing of rooms.
PAYMENT:
1. On booking please pay 50% amount
2. The remaining 50% of the package to be paid before 120 days of the day of journey
CANCELLATION POLICY :
1. 20% of package money will be deducted for cancellations made at any time before 150 days of the date of journey
2. 50% of the package money will be deducted for cancellations made at any time in between 60 to 149 days of the date of journey
3. 100% of the package money will be deducted for cancellations made at any time in between 0 to 59 days of the date of journey
