- **Event Description**: Joshua Chamberlain Society Houston hopes everyone has had a great 2025 and is excited to announce that registration is open for the 6th Annual Shoot for the Troops! Please share with any of your friends and/or co-workers! All the funds we raise from the shoot go to help our well-deserving heroes. We currently have five families as part of the JCS Houston organization and are actively working on our 6th! This is all possible because of your generosity and support of JCS Houston! Just this year, your support of JCS has made it possible to repair/remodel a master bathroom with damage from a water leak,  remodel a shower for a family with three young children, removal of trees/underbrush making a back yard safe for kids to play, air conditioning replacement and participation in the Boston Marathon!  We cannot thank everyone enough for your support of JCS and you are the JCS Family!
