- **Event Description**: Join Chris Davis for this Spring themed rain boots and sunflowers painting step by step! This painting is fully customizable and participants may use whatever colors they would like for the entire picture. Participants in this class will learn how to create this painting from a blank canvas and will learn techniques on sketching the basic composition of this picture as well as techniques on painting different textures such as wood tones, grass, flowers, and adding shadows and glare to shiny objects. This lesson focuses on acrylic painting techniques such as color layering, blending, and mixing. 

All supplies for the painting are provided, including participants choice of 11x14 canvas or Slate (if available). Feel free to bring snacks and wine! This is a beginner friendly class, no prior experience required!

Date: Friday March 27, 2026 at 6pm and will end around 8-9pm 

Ages: 18+ (21 to drink) (Teenagers under the age of 18 are able to take the class if accompanied by a responsible adult who is also taking the class). 

Cost: $35 ($32 for CAC Members).
