Gathering the grains - Celebrating Lammas

Lammas or Lughnasa is a time of heady scents and warm sunshine, a time to prepare for the oncoming first of the three harvests.

In this Lammas session we will explore the traditions and tastes of the season, the energy and what it means to us, the importance to our ancestors and the deities that they celebrated.
It’s a time for celebrating what we have achieved and to take stock to determine what we want to take forward, what seeds we need to nurture for the future and what we can leave scattered to be recycled.

This evening is a nurturing space to work with the gentle but potent plant of lavender along with a guided mediation and tea tasting. At the end of the evening we will use what we have gleaned to tend to our souls needs through the gentle sound of the gongs.

No previous experience is needed, just a willingness to explore and connect with this exciting time of the year. You may wish to bring a note pad and pen and a blanket or mat for the gong meditation.
