The Church has a long Masonic history with an impressive stained glass Masonic window over the altar. This was presented to its principal founder:
W Bro Gibbs Crawford Antrobus, MP, Assistant Provincial Grand Master of Cheshire and of Eaton Hall, by Freemasons in Congleton, Crewe and Macclesfield at the consecration of the Church in December 1857.
