We will run 2 Classes at Skyline Motorsports Park as long as the car count allows it! (Minimum of four cars in a class) Pro Extreme 7.49 and Faster Pro Sportsman 7.50 and Slower Street Legal Cars (Licensed & Registered) that are faster than 7.50, have the option to compete in Pro Sportsman! RULES SIMPLIFIED ($30 Membership Required) NO DELAY BOX NO THROTTLE STOPS Qualifying 2 qualifying passes will happen. Index Driver deducts .05 off his fastest pass, that becomes their index (dial) for the rest of the event, and IT DOESN'T CHANGE! EXAMPLE; fastest pass is a 7.40, your index is 7.35, or 6.38 becoming a 6.33 ETC Pairing Done by a chip draw (red chip is right lane - silver is left) number on chip determines who you race against. NOTE: Delay Box equipped cars may compete, but only if delay box is zeroed out and taped off! EXCITING NEWS!! The First 12 cars to sign up for points ($30) will receive a E3 Spark Plugs gift certificate, (Valued @ OVER $50) PLUS a 15th Anniversary Season Tee Shirt! ($25 Value) MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED! There is a $30 Membership fee to race in Northeast Open Comp. All Members will receive a T-Shirt, Series Decal & other goodies as the season progresses! GENERAL RULES • Gas or Diesel Powered Only (No EV or high bread gas-electric duel powered Allwed) • NO DELAY BOXES (Pro eXtreme cars that are equipped with a delay box must have the box zeroed Out and taped over!) • NO THROTTLE STOPS (Electronic, Pneumatic, or Mechanical) • TRANNY BRAKES ARE ALLOWED (both classes) • POWER ADDERS ARE ALLOWED (both classes) QUALLIFYING 2 qualifying passes will occur INDEX Index will Be determined by the Quickest Pass, of your 2 qualifyig runs. Driver takes the fastest of the 2 passes and deducts .05. (EXAMPLE your FASTEST pass is a 8.50, your index/dial will be 8.45. AND IT DOESN’T CHANGE for the rest of the event. PARING • Drivers MUST report to the table after the completion of qualifying, and after winning an elimination round! Pairing is determined by the luck of the draw. • Drivers will draw chips to determine pairing, and lane choice! (chips are colored & numbered. If needed there is also a bye run chip) • DRIVERS THAT DO NOT SHOW UP FOR ELIMINATIONS PARING, will forfeit there next round, and be eliminated from competition! DIAL IN Drivers are responsible for placing their dial in, clearly on the windshield and side windows of their car! DECALS Drivers MUST DISPLAY the proper Series, and Sponsors Decals in the required position.
