Call 314-842-0047 As winter’s quiet spell begins to loosen its grip, there is a stirring beneath the frost. A subtle, luminous whisper rises from the Earth—renewal is approaching. Imbolc, the sacred cross-quarter festival between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox, invites us to listen deeply to this awakening. It is the holy tide of Brighid, Keeper of the Flame, Guardian of the Well, and Muse of poets, healers, and artisans. Some refer to it as Brigid’s Feast, and others know it as Candlemas. Though the land appears still, Imbolc teaches us that great change begins in invisible places. Imbolc literally means, “in the belly”. During this time, we say that fire is in the belly which could mean the belly of an animal (ewe’s belly), Mother Earth’s belly, or our own belly. Seeds quicken beneath the soil, the first milk of the season returns, and the inner fire within us brightens, calling us toward inspiration, purification, and rebirth. We gather at this turning of the Wheel to honor the first glimmers of returning light and to tend the hearth of our own spirits. Join us at Pathways for an evening of exploration, ritual, storytelling, and shared wisdom inspired by the traditions of The Temple of Witchcraft, magick, and modern mystery teachings.
