Attend our workshop!About this EventJoin us at Sycamore Community Garden in Concord, NH as we kick off our second Guest Speaker Series event of the season!Purma Pandey, a fantastic long-time SCG gardener, will be leading this interactive gardening workshop. Attendees will have the opportunity to assist in building a traditional Nepalese and Bhutanese vertical growing structure known as a Tanga. A Tanga is a repurposed wooden lattice that does wonders for gardens! Conversations will also include the opportunity to learn more about the importance of these structures in both Nepalese and Bhutanese cultures. Purma can share examples from his own personal experience and cultural background for how these structures have been beneficial!This event will be a great opportunity to collaborate with local community members in our new shared Educational Garden space at SCG. If able, please plan to bring gardening tools (shovel, hoe, and/or gloves) as we have a limited supply. Also, plan to dress for weather - rain or shine, work shoes, hats, sunscreen, and bring water.
