Award winning artist Carly Thomas has been disarming audiences with her honest, heart-on-sleeve approach to songwriting since her very first performances in tavern bars in Europe. The Canadian artist (although raised everywhere from France to Argentina) has a certain wanderlust in her soul which is clear in her words and music, especially her latest collection, Behind The Ficus. Described as “moody Americana/rock” there are also elements of indie pop, folk, and even a hint of country twang. Her songs offer both an intense vulnerability and immediate resonance.
Carly has toured extensively across Canada, The United States, and parts of Europe and spent most of 2023 in Nashville to continue her blossoming career and write music that speaks to the soul. Her single, "Stay With Me", was a breakthrough song featured on CBC radio and Sirius XM’s “North Americana” , and reviewed as “a sweet glimpse of what vulnerability looks like in a relationship.”
