In addition, the Church Council voted to receive a love offering for Ruthie and her family each Sunday through the end of August. If you would like to donate to the love offering, please send a check to Cross of Christ Lutheran Church, 4500 Rimer Rd, Concord, NC 28025. Please include “Ruthie O’Brien Love Offering” in the memo line.
Come enjoy a hot, homemade breakfast offered for a freewill donation, sit with friends and neighbors, and be part of something meaningful. Come and be generous in your giving. Every plate served, every donation made, and every person who walks through the door helps lift up a wonderful family in their time of need.
Let’s show Ruthie and her loved ones what Cabarrus County, Mt. Pleasant, and our surrounding communities are all about — kindness, support, and standing together. As Jesus reminds us, “Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these… you did it to me” (Matthew 25:40). This is our opportunity to be the love of Christ in our community.
