Scott Melcher is a 56-year-old Army veteran, having served eight years in the military, and is the owner of Saul Construction, LLC. For much of his life, Scott built his identity on his military service, athletics, and his ability to lead and build in the physical world.

However, beneath the surface, he was facing internal battles—wounds from his time in uniform and struggles he couldn’t simply “fix” on his own.

Everything began to change when Scott stopped trying to be the sole architect of his life and fully surrendered to Jesus Christ. In that surrender, he discovered a new foundation—one built not on performance, but on grace.

Today, Scott is passionate about walking alongside other men, helping them face their battles and find true freedom in Christ. His heart is to see men restored, healed, and living in the identity God created them for.

When he’s not working or serving, Scott enjoys spending time with his wife, Wendy, his two daughters, and his granddaughter, as well as challenging himself through Masters swimming.

Scott’s story is a powerful reminder that no matter how deep the scars, God’s grace and forgiveness are more than enough to make all things new.
