- **Event Description**: Please join us on September 12th at LMCU Ballpark as we continue honoring those courageous first responders who were engaged in the greatest rescue mission in fire service history. It's hard to believe we're closing in on twenty-five years since that horrific morning in 2001.  The 2026 Grand Rapids 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb will be our 16th year hosting the event in coordination with the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation - https://www.firehero.org/ Each participant pays tribute by climbing the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center.
