This years theme, Aurora Voyage: Chasing the Northern Lights, is an invitation to celebrate the beauty of Minnesota’s northern skies and learn more about this beloved phenomena. Join us as we use our Unistellar telescopes to view our beautiful dark skies.

What is a star party? A star party is an exciting gathering of astronomy enthusiasts and curious individuals who come together to appreciate the wonders of the universe. It’s a chance to explore celestial objects, participate in interactive theme-based activities, and share new experiences with fellow stargazers of all levels. During the Statewide Star Party, the Bell Museum partners with organizations across Minnesota to orchestrate a symphony of star parties taking place during the same weekend.

This event is free and open to the public and registration is not required, but attendees are encouraged to RSVP. Tickets are not required for admission.
