New Year's Family Game Day

Comanche Public Library and DPT are excited to invite you to a free New Year's Family Game Day, hosted at 508 E. Central Ave! The library will be hosting free card, board, domino, and video games from 1-7pm on December 30. Everyone is invited to come spend some time at the library and play games. The library will provide some games, and everyone is welcome to bring their own family friendly games.

The library has organized three "meet ups" for people interested in similar games - a children's bingo and story time meet up from 1-2:30pm, an adult/senior adult domino meet up from 2:30-5pm, and an adult/teen Nertz tournament. These are not exclusive times to play these games - anyone is welcome to play dominos or Nertz at any time and children are welcome to attend and play any game all day. These times are simply an invitation for people interested in these games to come during this time!

DPT will be providing snacks and hosting us for an adult and teen Nertz tournament from 5-7pm. We have heard and seen the great interest in our community in playing Nertz after high school and hope that you will all join us for some fun (and possibly ruthless) competition to end 2025. We hope to have people of varying skill levels involved, so if you've never played Nertz please come and learn (and if you're as ruthless as Angie, come and have some fun)!
