Truth As Source: Writing Toward What's Real

Toni Morrison did not write around the truth, she wrote into it.

Led by celebrated writer Imani Mixon, writers are invited to interrogate the quiet forces that orchestrate our lives but rarely make it to the page. Through guided exercises, conversation, and free-writing time, attendees will explore the truths—experienced or imagined—that are asking to be seen in their work.

This event is open to all and intended for experienced writers actively working on a project.
