The proceeds from this year’s events will go toward a Lumpectomy Localization System. This state-of-the-art equipment precisely guides surgeons to cancerous tissue during a lumpectomy. Using electromagnetic signals, the system provides real-time 3D guidance, improving accuracy, reducing pain, and potentially leading to better cosmetic outcomes by preserving more healthy breast tissue.
