We are excited to bring the community back together for our second Fly Tying Social on Sunday, March 1, 2026! This fun, welcoming event is all about fly tying and a chance to socialize and tie with the local community. The event is open to everyone, no matter your skill level in fly tying or fly fishing. There will be fly tying demonstrations, an open vise tie session, and a mystery fly tying competition that’s sure to be a blast and filled with a lot of laughter. Join us to tie, learn, share, and enjoy the afternoon with fellow anglers and friends!
There will also be raffle to help raise funds for 2026 and support the continued growth of Ohio Women on the Fly. The proceeds will allow us to offer more educational events, purchase fly tying vises and tools, and invest in fly fishing gear that can be shared within our community. Raffle funds will also help cover essential operational costs, ensuring we can keep our programs accessible, welcoming, and inclusive for all who want to learn.

11:30AM - 1:30PM – Fly Tying Demonstrations, Open Vise Tie and Social Hour/Lunch
1:30PM - 2:00PM – Purchase Raffle Tickets/Setup for Competition
2:00PM - 2:30PM – Mystery Fly Tying Competition
2:30PM - 3:00PM – Voting/Prizes for the Mystery Fly Tying Competition (all participate in the voting process!)
3:00PM - 3:30PM – Raffle
