At this free event, we’ll hear from leaders behind the library project, and a Columbus resident's experience going solar, followed by a casual information session focused on the Columbus Area Solar Co-op. This city-supported group purchasing program makes going solar easier and more affordable for homeowners, nonprofits, and small businesses across Central Ohio. Columbus residents may also qualify for a city-funded rebate covering up to 20% of installation costs.**We'll have beverages and pastries. Plus, stick around for a deeper dive on going solar and to connect with your fellow community members.** ### Schedule:- **10 am:** Library Solar Project Celebration!- **10:30 am:** Solar 101 Information Session### At the Solar 101, you will learn:- How solar technology works — basic information for everyone- What going solar actually costs and what you can save- How the co-op process works from sign-up to installation- The Columbus city rebate and how to qualify- All your questions answered — bring the ones you've been sitting on This event is free to attend, and there's no obligation to purchase.
