This facilitated discussion aims to provide a space for participants to express their feelings, share insights, and explore personal responses to the documentary. Mindfulness Coach Daron Larson will introduce an emotional regulation strategy inspired by the cinematic process. Following the screening, he will invite participants to discuss the difference between moving and manipulating an audience, where this film falls on that continuum, and the power of individual empathy to drive social change. About the Speaker: Daron Larson is a mindfulness teacher and coach who helps people savor pleasant moments more and wrestle with the unpleasant ones less. He’s known for sharing down-to-earth ways to be more present. With over twenty-two years of practicing what he preaches, Daron encourages habits for responding more effectively to the constant demands on our attention.
