Light in the Darkness: New Moon and Solstice Candlelight Meditation

"In darkness it is most bright. While hidden all the more manifest." —Hongzhi

One Zen koan invites: Everyone has their own light. When you try to look for it, it appears dark or dim, what is everyone’s light?

Solstice marks the longest night of the year, and the slow return of the light. Join us for a night of meditation and dharma reflection as we take up the teachings of the dark, and perhaps open to the light that shines through everyone and everything.

We will do some meditation in darkness and by candlelight.
