About the event

"In Remembrance" Service to honor the memory of our recently deceased
featuring Saint Bartholomew Choir and Fairlawn Choir with Jenny Heichelbech, soprano solo, singing "Requiem" by John Rutter

We remember and celebrate the lives of those who have gone before us to the Kingdom of Heaven. Come listen to the words of the Scripture and pray together for the souls of our departed loved ones. This service will feature a ceremony of candles and the choir will sing the "Requiem" by living British composer, John Rutter (b. 1945), whose 80th birthday we celebrated this September. The seven movements of this work represent the soul's journey from darkness into light.

A Luminary Walk will follow the service.

May they rest in the peace of Our Lord!
