At Zora’s House, we believe that the best learning happens in community. Gather & Grow is our lunch & learn series designed to spark curiosity, deepen connection, and highlight the brilliance within our membership. And yet this is not the end of creativity. It’s the beginning of becoming.

In this intimate and soul-anchored conversation, Danielle-Nicole Angel unpacks what it truly means to be “stuck” creatively, not as failure or fatigue, but as a sacred invitation to listen, reset, and realign with purpose.

Through personal storytelling drawn from her 20-year artistic evolution spanning runways, residencies, and the quiet corners of her studio, Danielle-Nicole explores how creative blocks often emerge when we’ve outgrown an old version of ourselves. The muse doesn’t leave; she changes shape.

This talk invites creators of every kind—artists, writers, innovators, dreamers—to reimagine “stuckness” as the soil where new stories, visions, and voices take root.

Info: I am interested in conveying a message of resilience for women of color through beauty. I personally have experiences in life that led me to dealing with depression and anxiety, esthetics helps me mentally and I will show others how self care goes hand in hand with mental health.
