Kirsta Niemie Benedetti creates layered portrait and installation work that explores identity, memory, and social history through intimate surfaces and powerful storytelling. Using acrylic, latex paint, and graphite, her work blends abstraction and figuration to reflect lived experience, emotion, and resilience.

Based in Columbus, Kirsta is a painter and installation artist whose work has been shaped by travel, community, and social justice. She holds a BFA from Columbus College of Art & Design, and has exhibited widely across central Ohio. Her practice combines portraiture and abstraction to give voice to stories both personal and collective.
