Chicken & Biscuits

Get ready for a heartwarming and hilarious family reunion! Chicken and Biscuits serves up a feast of laughter, love, and a few family secrets. The Jenkins family is coming together to celebrate the life of their father but any hopes for a peaceful reunion unravel when a family secret threatens to derail the service.

As the funeral unfolds, tensions rise, particularly between sisters Baneatta and Beverly, whose long-standing rivalry bubbles to the surface… especially with Beverly’s abundant “blessings” on display.

Meanwhile, Baneatta’s son brings his neurotic Jewish boyfriend along, knowing Baneatta disapproves, and Beverly’s nosy daughter keeps asking questions no one wants to answer. Baneatta’s pastor husband tries to mediate the family drama, but when a shocking family secret reveals itself at the pulpit, the two sisters are faced with a truth that could either heal or break them.

Chicken and Biscuits is a heartfelt comedy about family and forgiveness, that reminds us all that even in the messiest moments, laughter and love can bring us back together.
