Ticket & student ID required.About this EventTurning Point's After Prom Party is the third annual collaborative event from Turning Point Domestic Violence Services and the After Prom. This hybrid event will combine two longtime traditions, Dance Marathon and After Prom, to be unlike anything hosted in the community.The event will be open to Juniors and Seniors from 11:00 pm until 3:00 am.Brought to you by Circle K, the night will offer an evening of throwbacks and fun through activities such as live music from a local jazz band, a video game tournament, low- key activities, and a DJ. Let's not forget students will be entered into a drawing for unbelievable prizes including: gas cards, professional sports tickets, electronics, restaurant gift cards, and even college scholarships for seniors!Amazing food will also be offered all throughout the night FOR FREE, along with the opportunity to hang in Turning Point's 'Prevention Lounge.'You must present a ticket and student ID for entry, and once you leave for the night, there will be NO RE-ENTRY ALLOWED. Pre- registration will end at 5:00 pm on Friday, May 1st.EACH PERSON MUST READ BEFORE REGISTERINGI understand that while participating in Turning Point's After Prom Party and related events, attendees may be photographed or recorded while participating in event-related activities. I understand that Turning Point may use the likeness, voice, photograph, audio and/or video recordings, or words in any form of any attendees for promotional activities without payment. Turning Point may also release to media any and all Dance Marathon-related photos or videos taken of event participants.EXPECTATIONS• Place safety and well-being first.• Refrain from engaging in acts of violence, physical or emotional abuse, bullying or any acts that could be detrimental to me or others.• Refrain from using alcohol, tobacco, and all other illegal substances or being under the influence of these substances while attending event-related activities.• Commit to setting a positive example by working to have healthy relationships.• Respect the privacy and confidentiality of all DM:APP participants, committee members, mentors, guests, volunteers, and Turning Point staff.YOUTH POLICIES:All student participants must submit a parent/guardian’s name and valid contact information on the registration form. Students may arrive and leave at any time during the scheduled 11:00 pm to 3:00am duration of the After Prom Party. Re-entry to the event is not permitted.All junior and senior students who attend high school in Bartholomew County are permitted at the event. All BCSC Prom 2026 attendees are also permitted.BCSC students are required to show a student ID for entry. All other students and guests will be verified upon entry.WAIVER OF LIABILITYIn consideration of Turning Point Domestic Violence Services allowing me or my child to participate in DM:APP-related activities, and being aware of the possible injuries that could occur during or as a result of that participation, I, [on behalf of myself and/or my minor child/children] release from liability Turning Point Domestic Violence Services, its officials, employees, agents and volunteers for any and all injuries and damages whatsoever arising from participation in this event. I, my heirs, and representatives, agree to indemnify, save and hold harmless Turning Point Domestic Violence Services, its officials, employees, agents and volunteers from any and all claims made by me (my child/children) or my insurer for injuries or damages related to this event. NO coat/bag check service will be provided, and students are advised that they are personally responsible for items brought to the event. The following items are prohibited:• Tobacco, including vapor products and E-Cigarettes• Drugs, Alcohol, and illegal substances of any kind• Knives or weapons of any kind• Outside food or drink• Gum• Aerosols• Blankets• Sleeping bags• PillowsTurning Point and DM:APP is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITYAll high school seniors attending DM:APP 2026 will be eligible for one (1) of three (3) $1,000 scholarships to be used toward post-secondary education including, but not limited to a, 2- or 4-year degree program, trade school, or certificate program. Participants must be a twelfth-grade student currently enrolled in a Bartholomew County high school (includes accredited home school programs). STUDENTS MUST BE PRESENT AT TIME OF DRAWING TO WIN.INCLEMENT WEATHERParticipants and committee members are not expected to travel in dangerous weather conditions; this includes attendance at meetings, event-related activities and the event. Turning Point follows the Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation schedule as it relates to inclement weather. If school is canceled or released early due to weather, all event-related activities may be canceled or postponed.Turning Point and DM:APP staff and local authorities will determine the status of DM:APP in the event of predicted inclement weather. A parent/guardian or emergency contact will be notified by phone if a cancellation due to weather occurs at any point of the planned 11:00 pm-3:00 am duration of the event.MEDICAL INFORMATIONIf a student experiences a medical emergency, appropriate care will be provided to them, and a parent/guardian or emergency contact will be called.
