Truth & Justice Teach-In: Understanding Relationships of Power and Oppression
Please join us as we go back to our activist roots of yore, creating space for discussion and education on issues that are confusing, difficult, or being muted by current media and political rhetoric.
TEACH-IN: (noun) - an informal lecture and discussion or series of lectures on a subject of public interest
This event will be the first on the topic of PEACE & JUSTICE and it will focus on power and oppression. Who is affected and how? What are the intersectional components? How did we get here and how can we build coalitions in solidarity to seek solutions? Our panel of speakers hope to engage you, activate you and educate you! Get involved in the conversation, come with an open-mind, and listen, learn and contribute.
Refreshments at 1:30. Teach-In begins at 1:45.
