Theology of Homelessness and Generational Poverty

Theology of Homelessness and Generational Poverty

With poverty rates and homelessness rates rising, how do we as faith community and faith leaders engage authentically neighbors in need to help create lasting change? In this season of Lent, what is our theology of poverty? Does this impact our faith? Our teachings? Our practices?

Join the Academy of Faith and Leadership as we explore how to create meaningful and authentic ministry with the homeless in our community with Mindy Jamison, certified Ruby Payne trainer and how to develop a theology of poverty that will inform our faith practices and teachings with Rev. Kelly Strum, Co-founder of Koinonia.

This seminar will include resources you can take back to your nonprofit, community of faith or other interested parties as well as snacks and coffee and lunch. This seminar will also include CEU credits.
