They will discuss and demonstrate rug braiding, a tradition practiced in their family for generations. Stay to visit permanent and special exhibits in the Museum of Art & Archaeology and the Museum of Anthropology. 

The Research Room is located near the Visitor Services desk on the lower level of Mizzou's Ellis Library at Hitt Street and Lowry Mall. 

This event is open to the public at no charge. Parking is available on Hitt Street, at the Hitt Street Parking Structure, or the Visitors Lot next to the University Bookstore. The accessible entrance to the Museum is at Hitt Street on the east side of the building. For further accommodations, per the ADA, please reach out to mofolkarts @ missouri.edu to make arrangements. 

This event and the Traditional Arts Apprenticeship Program are made possible with a Grant for Arts Projects from the National Endowment for the Arts, as well as support from the Missouri Arts Council and the Museum of Art & Archaeology.
