- **Event Description**: Project Holiday is a volunteer opportunity for local youth to create holiday gift packages and write letters for older adults in HoCo.About this EventProject Holiday is a volunteer opportunity for local youth 11-18 to assemble holiday gift packages and write letters for older adults who would not otherwise receive a gift. These gift bags will be delivered to the individuals by other volunteers. There are two volunteer positions available during the event: 1. Letter Writers (20 people) - Will write letters to older adults for the holiday season. 2. Packers (6 people) - Will pack bags for older adults for the holiday season. It will also be an opportunity to connect with youth throughout Howard County and learn more information about the youth organization Voices for Change. This work is led by the Howard County Office on Aging and Independence in collaboration with the Office of the Local Children's board and youth organization Voices for Change all located under the Department of Community Resources and Services. Food will be provided for youth volunteers.
