Annual International Postcard Art Invitational / 2026
As in previous years, artists from around the world can donate to our fundraiser by working in most any medium to create a 2-dimensional work in the form of a postcard—a drawing, painting, collage, photograph, etc—so long as it can be mailed through the postal service.
NO RETURN ADDRESS is needed! Artist information such as website or social media is optional. 
BOTH SIDES of your submissions will be publicly viewed, bid upon, and sold during this fundraiser, or a future fundraiser. Proceeds benefit the general operating costs of Create Columbia, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the arts in Columbia, Pennsylvania. Check us out! www.createcolumbia.org
Postcards will be exhibited in a new location this year: Kindred Collections, in Columbia, PA during their regular business hours (below). Visitors will be invited to bid for their favorites in a silent auction with a minimum bid of $10. Winning bidders will be notified shortly after closing the exhibit. 
Postcards will be on view at Kindred Collections from Saturday, Sept. 5th through Friday, Sept. 25th, 3 pm.
Postcards will be moved from Kindred Collections to Create Columbia’s Art in the Park event in Locust Street Park for a final day, Saturday, Sept. 26th from 10-3. Silent Auction bidding will end at that time.
Kindred Collections is located at 452 Locust Street, Columbia, PA.  Business hours: Wed. 10-4, Thurs. 10-4, Friday 10-5, Sat. 10-5, Sunday 12-4. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. 
Art in the Park, Locust Street, Columbia, PA between 5th and 6th Streets on Sept. 26th from 10-3.
Carefully read these submission guidelines: 
1. Submissions must be original work created by the person mailing the postcard art and received by Monday, August 31st.
2. Postcards must be sent via postal service (as a postcard) and should not be contained within an envelope.
3. Standard postcard size is 4.25” X 6”. Larger postcard art will require more postage. Check with your local post office. 
4. This year's theme, ’Kindred’ is encouraged but not mandatory.
5. Two submissions are allowed per artist.
6. There is no entry fee.
7. There are no monetary awards.
8. Submissions can not be returned.
9. Postcards should contain the country of origin. NO RETURN ADDRESS needed! Postcards will be displayed publicly front and back sides. Artist website or social media is optional.
