• Monica Korba, RN and end-of-life doula with Serenity Passage, will discuss her experience with end-of-life planning.

• Sarah Parris, writer and English instructor for Columbia College, will discuss the novel's structure and style and address the use of animals in literature.

• Dr. Allison Roth, assistant professor of biological sciences at MU, will talk about the effect of an animal's environment on its behavior, and how her research affected her experience of reading this year's One Read.
